Xos Hub surpasses 1 gigawatt-hour energy delivery milestone

Xos Inc., a provider of energy storage and charging solutions, has achieved a significant milestone with its Xos Hub unit. The system has delivered over 1,020,143.6 kilowatt-hours of energy across 33,600 charging sessions, marking the first time a single Xos Hub has surpassed the 1 gigawatt-hour mark. This milestone, announced by the company, reflects the Hub's performance under continuous, real-world use conditions.

Operating across diverse climates and applications, the Xos Hub has charged various vehicles, including trucks, cars, buses, and autonomous vehicles, for fleet operations and disaster response. The unit's average energy delivery ranged between 1,800 to 2,000 kWh per day, demonstrating its reliability and efficiency.

Dakota Semler, Xos's Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that this achievement provides valuable multi-year data on the platform's performance. The company has recently expanded its energy storage offerings, including increased Hub capacity tiers and the introduction of the Power Hub, a containerized system available in various configurations. Furthermore, Xos has secured orders from Xcel Energy and the U.S. Air Force, further solidifying its position in the market.
