UPSSSC Extends PET 2026 Application Deadline Till September 7

Lucknow, September 1: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has granted candidates appearing for the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2026 (PET-2026) an extension to the registration, fee payment, and online application submission deadline. The Commission has pushed back the final date from September 1 to September 7, 2026.

The advertisement for PET-2026 was published on August 1, and the online application process began on August 3, 2026. Earlier, the deadline for registration, fee payment, and online application submission was set for September 1, 2026. However, the Commission has now provided candidates with an additional window of opportunity to complete their applications by September 7, 2026.

This extension aims to assist candidates who, for various reasons, were unable to complete the application process before the original deadline. The Commission has also clarified that candidates can adjust their fees and modify their application forms until September 8, 2026, while adhering to the prescribed guidelines. The remaining application process, including the application fee, criteria for selection, and other rules, will remain unchanged as per the original advertisement.
