Ukraine’s Ombudsman Warns of ‘Systemic’ Mobilization Corruption, Says Men Can Be Smuggled Out for $70,000
Ukrainian Parliamentary Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets has warned that corruption surrounding mobilization has become widespread, alleging that men can pay $10,000 to leave a military recruitment center, $15,000 to be released from its premises, or $50,000-$70,000 to be taken directly from a recruitment van and smuggled across the border.
