Junior Asiemoah vows to consolidate NDC's gains in the Volta Region; joins regional youth organizer race
Positioning himself as a candidate backed by proven service rather than rhetoric alone, his platform emphasises a deliberate shift from supporting regional leadership to steering it.
Junior Asiemoah Kwame, a two-term Deputy Regional Youth Organizer, has announced his bid for the Volta Regional Youth Organiser position. This comes after extensive consultations with party stakeholders and grassroots structures. The political landscape within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region is intensifying as Kwame seeks to consolidate the party's gains in the region. His campaign slogan is "Eight Years of Service. Ready to Lead."
Kwame's platform is built on nearly a decade of active mobilisation, with a focus on tangible support for constituency wings and tertiary campuses. He emphasizes a shift from merely supporting regional leadership to steering it. Key priorities in his declaration include strengthening grassroots structures, promoting youth empowerment, and fostering unity across the region's various constituencies and tertiary institutions.
In a statement to the media, Kwame highlighted his track record, stating, "Over the years, I have served, mobilized and supported our youth structures - from providing laptops to constituency youth wings and campuses, to mobilizing motorbikes for our 2024 campaign and creating opportunities for our young people." He added, "I am not coming with promises alone. I am coming with experience, a record of service and a vision for a stronger, united and empowered youth wing."
