Iran retaliated to a US airstrike on a wedding celebration by launching a drone attack against Kuwait and Bahrain on Wednesday. Both nations were successful in intercepting the incoming drones. The US airstrike resulted in four casualties and multiple injuries, according to an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson. US Central Command (CENTCOM) denied any deliberate targeting of civilians.

The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, which had been deployed in the Middle East for 286 days, docked at the port of Laem Chabang in eastern Thailand on Wednesday. The carrier, carrying around 5,000 American service members, had been involved in US naval blockades and combat operations in the Middle East. Many service members were expected to visit Pattaya, a nearby beach resort town known for sex tourism, during their five-day stay.

Two oil tankers caught fire after colliding with sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC claimed the tankers were attempting to transit through an illegal route before striking mines and exploding. Two Filipino crew members were killed in an attack on a Bahri oil tanker in the strait on Monday.
