The time is now for Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese with U.S. women at the World Cup

Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are among the new faces of the U.S. women's national team, set to represent their country at the FIBA World Cup. Bueckers, Clark and Reese see this as a natural progression as the younger generation replaces the veterans. The U.S. team, without veteran Sabrina Ionescu, will rely on the young talent of Bueckers, Clark, Reese and Aliyah Boston.

The team begins its World Cup campaign against China in Berlin, with three games in group play. The WNBA will take a nearly three-week break to accommodate the tournament. Only three players on the team are in their 30s, while the rest are 24 or younger. Bueckers, a reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, is excited to be surrounded by so many talented players.

Clark, who has made the postseason with her team the Fever each of her three years, and Reese, who is on her way to leading the WNBA in rebounding for the third time, are also eager to make their mark on the international stage.
