Statement – Deliberative Council meeting with SDC Sports

On Monday night, the Deliberative Council (CD) held an extraordinary meeting at Vila Belmiro, where representatives of SDC Sports introduced themselves to the council members. The company, led by Jesse Fioranelli, co-founders Diego Garcia and Michael Lipman, and managing partner, sought to explain their interest in Santos Futebol Clube (SAF). The meeting was attended by consultants David Kirsch and Peter Cohen.

SDC Sports clarified that their investment does not depend on the club's electoral situation, ensuring their decisions were independent. The selection process involved XP Investimentos and 62 investors, concluding that SDC Sports was the best fit to collaborate with the future of Santos FC. President Marcelo Teixeira emphasized the importance of understanding the group's profile, investment methods, and experience in football.

The company had 11 months of research on SAF's structure and current situation, demonstrating their commitment to the project. The investors trust the executives and believe that Santos FC, known for its world-class talent and passionate fan base, needs strengthening to achieve greatness again. Jesse Fioranelli stressed the importance of discipline in capital management and highlighted the focus on structural improvements and athlete training.

The executives emphasized that Santos FC's sovereignty would remain intact and expressed their willingness to learn from council members, members, and fans to better understand and respect the club's processes. The long-term plan involves three stages: conviction in the project, transition to high-performance standards, and strengthening the Santos identity to create foundations for sustainable long-term growth.
