Rufai Oseni reveals why FBI won’t release Tinubu’s alleged drug trafficking file

Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni has provided insight into why the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) may refrain from releasing a fully unredacted version of its records pertaining to President Bola Tinubu. Oseni suggested during a segment of The Morning Show on Arise Television that the FBI might avoid releasing the complete document due to Tinubu's potential historical contributions to investigations and crackdowns on drug-related activities.

He discussed privacy concerns during his discussion on Ojy Okpe’s What’s Trending segment. Oseni pointed out that the FBI likely wouldn't release the unredacted document about President Tinubu because the former had previously offered information that aided the investigation and resulted in the crackdown on drug elements. However, he also argued that Tinubu should consider relinquishing his privacy rights for the sake of transparency, given his current position.

Oseni highlighted that releasing the records could help address lingering questions about the president’s alleged involvement in drug-related and criminal matters in the United States. He emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency, suggesting that if the document remains redacted, the public would continue to speculate about the president's connection to drug and criminal cases in America.

Oseni also expressed his belief that to maintain fairness, President Tinubu should disclose details about his primary school, secondary school, and other antecedents.
