The larger gap in the ranking likely stems from Moss' longevity and his status among wide receivers. He concluded his career with 15,292 receiving yards and 156 touchdowns, trailing only Rice in career receiving scores. However, the 48-player gap between Moss and Gronkowski is substantial. While Moss generated fear before the snap due to the potential for game-changing deep passes, Gronkowski posed a unique challenge: defenses often couldn't stop him altogether.
