Pitso Mosimane replaces Mkhalele with trusted lieutenants upon Bafana Bafana return

Pitso Mosimane, the new head coach of Bafana Bafana, has unveiled his technical team, opting to retain his trusted lieutenants from his previous stints rather than keep the staff of his predecessor, Hugo Broos. Mosimane, who returned to the Bafana Bafana role on a four-year contract, announced that Musi Matlaba and Kabelo Rangoaga will serve as his assistants.

This move comes after he decided not to retain the backroom staff from Broos' tenure, including former assistant Helman Mkhalele. Matlaba and Rangoaga, who have years of experience working with Mosimane and have won multiple trophies together, made them ideal choices for supporting Mosimane's return to Bafana Bafana. Mosimane highlighted the importance of working with people who understand the unique challenges faced in South Africa and across the continent, emphasizing that his staff is selected based on their ability to deliver success and trophy wins.
