Pakistan Arrives at LEAP 2026 with Largest-Ever Delegation, Backing “Think Tech, Think Pakistan” with Scale

Pakistan has made a strong showing at LEAP 2026, the technology show in Saudi Arabia, by sending its largest delegation yet to the event. The delegation, led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) under the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, includes nearly 1,000 delegates and staff, reflecting the rapid growth of Pakistan’s IT sector.

The vast presence is backed by the slogan “Think Tech, Think Pakistan,” and showcases companies from various sectors such as fintech, enterprise AI, cybersecurity, and smart city technology. The delegation also includes 18 representatives from the PMTF and 25 from P@SHA, demonstrating strong government and private sector involvement.

This visit comes amid rising Pakistani technology exports, reaching US$4.6 billion in FY2025–26. Federal Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja emphasized the trip as a chance to connect with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation agenda and expand Pakistan’s presence in the market. Visitors to the Pakistan Pavilion at LEAP 2026 can see live demonstrations of AI-powered voice banking, defense-grade cybersecurity systems, a live 4D digital twin of a smart city, and enterprise AI tools already in use by regional banks and retailers.

This approach seeks to shift the perception of Pakistani technology from a low-cost alternative to a capable regional partner that can contribute to the Gulf’s growth over the next decade.
