Paal Eikeseth er ny toppsjef i Aker Solutions

Aker Solutions has appointed Paal Eikeseth as the company's new chief executive officer, effective immediately, according to a shareholder resolution. Eikeseth replaces Kjetel Digre, who has decided to step down after six years in the role. Aker Solutions has a strong track record of planning ahead and making decisions at the right time, says Leif-Arne Langøy, the company's chairman.

When Digre indicated his intention to leave his position as chief executive, the board and Digre agreed that it was the right time for a leadership change. Eikeseth has been leading the company's Life Cycle business since 2022 and has previously overseen operations in countries such as the United Kingdom, Angola, Canada, and Asia.

"I look forward to enhancing project delivery even further and leveraging our strengths through standardization, reuse, and data," he stated. Digre, in his shareholder resolution, noted that he had spent much time developing the company's culture. "The company is well-positioned for the next chapter, and I am confident that Paal and the team will continue to build upon this foundation," he said. Aker Solutions shares have risen 40% so far this year on Oslo Børs.
