Newcastle sign Belgium forward Fernandez-Pardo from Lille

Newcastle United has signed forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille for an initial £51.4m. The 21-year-old Belgium international arrived at Tyneside to undergo a medical and sign a long-term contract. Fernandez-Pardo expressed his pride at joining such a prestigious club, praising head coach Matthias Jaissle for demonstrating his commitment.
