Tamil Nadu's MSME Minister P. Mathan Raja announced plans to establish new industrial parks aimed at boosting women-led businesses across the state. The Minister disclosed that industrial parks will be set up in Sankaraperi (Thoothukudi) on 10 acres for ₹3.70 crore, Narasinganallur (Tirunelveli) on 15 acres for ₹47.13 crore, and Palaiyapatti SIPCOT Industrial Estate (Thanjavur) on 10 acres for ₹8.00 crore.

Apart from this, the state's Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO) plans to establish five new industrial estates covering 234.38 acres in Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts at a cost of ₹171.39 crore. These estates will be built at Naidukuppam, Kannankottai, Thervoykandigai, Erumaiyur, and Varadharajapuram. The allotted time for industrial units in SIDCO estates has been extended from two to three years.

SIDCO will also create a new 26.85-acre industrial estate in Kattrampakkam Village, Vanur Taluk, Viluppuram for ₹20.60 crore. Two new industrial estates will be constructed on TANSI lands in Konam (Kanyakumari) and Mettur (Salem) at an undisclosed cost. To promote industrialization in Perambalur and Mayiladuthurai, SIDCO will identify suitable land to establish new industrial estates.

A 'Coconut Industrial Estate' for coconut-based MSMEs will be set up on 3.18 acres of TANSI land in Pollachi, Coimbatore for ₹11.50 crore. Additionally, a Medical Technology Park will be built on 5.00 acres of land in Suriyur Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli for ₹2.06 crore.
