Mike McCarthy reveals reason for Elandon Roberts’ release

General manager Omar Khan confirmed on Monday that there was no immediate closure on a potential return for Roberts, but as of now, it seems unlikely to happen. Khan expressed his respect for Roberts, stating that they had a history together and that he had performed well. Despite this, he reiterated that there is no intention to reopen discussions about bringing Roberts back to the team. Roberts, known for his strong run-stopping abilities, was surprisingly released by the Steelers.
