Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis Visits Anna Hazare At Bombay Hospital, Wishes Him Speedy Recovery

On Tuesday, September 1, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid a visit to Anna Hazare, a senior social worker, at a hospital in Mumbai where he was receiving treatment for poor health. Fadnavis inquired about Hazare's wellbeing and expressed his heartfelt hopes for his swift recuperation, saying, "Anna, may you live a hundred years." The Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes, stating that he hoped Hazare would enjoy a long life.

Hazare, who is 89 years old, was admitted to Bombay Hospital on Monday night from his home in Ralegan Siddhi, a village in Maharashtra. His aide, Datta Awari, informed that Hazare had previously received medical care at a local hospital in his village before being transferred to Mumbai. Consultant physician Dr Gautam Bhansali revealed that Hazare's current condition is stable and that he is responding positively to treatment.

Medical reports indicated a kidney-related infection, but Awari confirmed that Hazare is now feeling better.

During their meeting, Fadnavis also informed Hazare about the Maharashtra Cabinet's approval of the revised cost of the Kukdi Irrigation Project during their meeting earlier that day. The Chief Minister expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the approval and shared the news with Hazare during his hospital visit. Hazare, a well-known social worker from Maharashtra, has been undergoing medical treatment at Bombay Hospital.

Fadnavis's visit aimed to personally convey his wishes for Hazare's recovery and update him on the government's decision regarding the irrigation project.
