LG Twins manager, GM welcome back pitcher Go Woo-suk from U.S.

Seoul, September 1st - The LG Twins have announced they are pleased to welcome back former All-Star closer Go Woo-suk from his U.S. stint. Go, who had been designated for assignment by the Minnesota Twins last week, elected to remain in the United States after his contract expired, rather than accepting a move to Triple-A. His return has been welcomed by both the manager, Youm Kyoung-youb, and the team's General Manager, Cha Myeong-seok.

Cha expressed his hope that Go will play a significant role in the pitching staff for the remainder of the season, even though he will not be eligible for postseason games due to KBO rules. Youm believes Go's improved command and new pitches, such as a splitter, will make him a formidable force in the bullpen.
