Jazz and iTecknologi Partner to Launch Drivver, a Modern & Game Changing Ride-Hailing Platform

Jazz has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with iTecknologi to jointly launch Drivver, a innovative ride-hailing platform. This partnership merges Jazz's extensive connectivity, digital presence, distribution abilities and JazzCash's financial infrastructure with iTecknologi's expertise in connected mobility, IoT technology, fleet management and large-scale operational execution.

Drivver will provide diverse transportation choices such as cars, motorcycles and rickshaws, offering users convenient and accessible travel options.

A standout feature of the platform will be its capability for riders and drivers to utilize the service within the Jazz network, without the need to use their mobile data. This enables hassle-free booking, acceptance and management of rides without the requirement for a separate internet package for the application, making digital mobility more accessible for young people, students, gig workers and drivers.

JazzCash will facilitate digital transactions across the Drivver ecosystem, providing users with enhanced convenience and transparency.

Drivers relying primarily on cash payments will have the opportunity to establish a digital financial footprint through the platform, enabling them to participate more actively in Pakistan's formal financial ecosystem. Eligible users may also be connected with relevant microfinance and other financial products, subject to applicable eligibility and regulatory conditions.

Under the collaboration, iTecknologi will take charge of Drivver's technology, product innovation and operational execution, while Jazz will provide support through its nationwide connectivity, digital infrastructure and distribution capabilities. This reduced cost of doing business also contributes to more affordable journeys for riders. At launch, riders will be able to enjoy introductory offers, with comprehensive commercial details to be unveiled closer to the rollout. The platform is tailored to meet the needs of Pakistan's young and increasingly digital population, offering a more connected mobility experience, new earning opportunities for drivers, and improved access to financial services.

Both Jazz and iTecknologi are currently working towards the commercial launch of Drivver, which is anticipated to occur soon.
