IGNOU July 2026 Admission: Online courses application closes on September 15; check how to apply

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has set the final deadline for online admissions in the July 2026 enrollment cycle as September 15. Interested candidates must submit their applications on the official IGNOU portal, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, by this date to be considered for the forthcoming 2026-27 batch. The registration fee for online programmes is non-refundable under any circumstances.

To apply for the online programmes, candidates must visit the admission portal, fill out the application form with all required details, and pay the registration fee. It is crucial for applicants to keep their APAAR ID ready during the application process. The university recommends following the step-by-step guide provided below to successfully apply for the July 2026 admissions.

Step 1: Access the official admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Register on the portal by providing necessary information such as preferred course, username, and password.

Step 3: Upon successful registration, candidates will receive their username via SMS and email.

Step 4: Complete the application form by entering all personal and academic details.

Step 5: Upload the required documents, including a scanned photograph, signature, marksheets, experience certificate (if applicable), and category certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, in the specified format.
