Howard Stern Hands Off One of His SiriusXM Channels to Andy Cohen for Real – With a Request to ‘Up the Gay’

Howard Stern recently transferred one of his SiriusXM channels to Andy Cohen, granting Cohen a "gay antics" request, according to a recent Instagram video posted by Stern. The prank, which occurred last year, involved Stern and Cohen convincing listeners that Stern's contract had been canceled, leading to Cohen taking over Stern's show.

However, thanks to Stern's new deal with SiriusXM and a streaming deal with HBO Max, Stern has decreased his show's output to one show per week, freeing up the 101st channel for Cohen. In the video, Cohen playfully agreed to maintain the tradition of "gay antics" on his own show, jokingly agreeing that Stern's show was "gayer than mine."

Stern's new season of "The Howard Stern Show" is set to begin on September 14, and the show will also stream on HBO Max starting September 17.
