Foreigner at Sultan Abdul Samad Building not tour guide, says KL City Gallery

KUALA LUMPUR: The KL City Gallery has clarified that a foreign individual suspected of working as a tour guide at the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is not in fact employed in that position. The gallery expressed regret over the confusion generated after the foreign employee was observed wearing a sash, which led to misunderstandings about the duties of the designated tour guides.

In response to a viral social media post about the foreign staff member seen wearing a sash at the KL City Gallery and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the gallery issued an apology for the resulting confusion. According to a statement released yesterday, the individual in question is not a tour guide and has never been assigned by the company to perform the duties of a tour guide.
