Fahmi hails behind-the-scenes heroes of National Day celebration

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil conveyed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to all individuals and entities who worked diligently to ensure the success of this year's 2026 National Day celebration. He extended his thanks to every participant, security personnel, healthcare workers, media practitioners, volunteers, and relevant agencies from the commencement of preparations to the culmination of the event.

"A special thank you to all Malaysians who gathered at Dataran Putrajaya, as well as the millions who watched the celebration from their homes. Your presence and enthusiasm made this year's celebration profoundly significant," Fahmi stated in a Facebook post yesterday. The Minister highlighted the unsung heroes who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, describing them as the true heroes who ensured the seamless execution of the celebration.

"May the Malaysia we cherish continue to thrive in prosperity, harmony, and stability, remaining united in our diversity. Happy National Day," Fahmi concluded.
