Fahmi hails behind-the-scenes heroes of National Day celebration

KUALA LUMPUR, September 1 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil conveyed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to all those who worked diligently to make the 2026 National Day celebration a success. He acknowledged the efforts of everyone involved, from the initial planning stages to the celebration's conclusion, including participants, security personnel, healthcare workers, media practitioners, volunteers, and relevant agencies.

Fahmi extended a special thank you to all Malaysians who participated in the festivities at Dataran Putrajaya, as well as the millions who watched the event from their homes. He emphasized that their presence and enthusiasm made this year's celebration truly significant. In a Facebook post, Fahmi described the individuals working behind the scenes as heroes, highlighting their role in ensuring the smooth running of the event.

Fahmi concluded his message by wishing the beloved Malaysia continued prosperity, harmony, and stability, while remaining united in its diversity.
