Debi Mazar Says ‘Entourage’ Set Became ‘Toxic’ After Her 2nd Baby: ‘They Didn’t Like That I Got Fat’

Debi Mazar has revealed that the set of "Entourage" became toxic for her after she gave birth to her second child. In an interview with The Times, the actress recalled that the atmosphere changed during the third season of the HBO series. Mazar, who portrayed Vincent Chase's publicist Shauna Roberts, described the initial season as "a joy-fest," but admitted that by the third season, the set had turned into a "testosterone-fuelled environment."

Despite her tough demeanor, she felt uncomfortable with the shift in dynamics. Mazar had already given birth to her first child during the show's run, and the crew reportedly didn't appreciate her post-pregnancy weight gain, even though she later slimmed down. She explained that she was upfront about her discontent but always maintained her professionalism.

Mazar praised her time on "Entourage" despite the challenges, noting that it was "a lot of fun, until it wasn't." The HBO show, which aired from 2004 to 2011, won six Emmys and a Golden Globe. A film adaptation was released in 2015, and Mazar reprised her role as Shauna in the movie. In 2020, Mazar discussed her experiences working on the show with PeopleTV's "Couch Surfing," admitting that some of the dialogue written for her character pushed her boundaries.
