Canon supports channel partners to bring faster, more versatile desktop scanning to modern businesses

Canon South Africa has introduced the imageFORMULA DR-C360, a compact and highly productive scanner, to its channel partner portfolio. This new addition to the DR-C300 Series aims to meet the growing demand for efficient, flexible, and space-saving document capture solutions, particularly in hybrid work environments, smaller offices, and distributed teams.

The scanner boasts an ultra-compact design, occupying one of the smallest footprints in its category, making it ideal for use in branch and remote offices, customer engagement points, reception areas, and shared business environments. The imageFORMULA DR-C360 features a larger display panel, physical buttons, and USB Type-C connectivity for simplified operation and setup.

It is equipped with Canon's CaptureOnTouch Pro software, which enables quick and accurate digitisation of paper documents, file format conversion using intelligent technologies like OCR and bar code recognition, and even the scanning of customer identification documents directly, without the need for a protective carrier sheet. The device's advanced image-processing technologies, including Active Threshold and enhanced highlighting capabilities, ensure consistently high-quality scans and reduced rescanning.

The imageFORMULA DR-C360 also supports organisations in reducing their total cost of ownership (TCO) through energy-efficient operation and incorporates sustainability considerations, such as a redesigned roller replacement kit and packaging made from reusable and biodegradable materials.
