Badshah released his first Marathi track hours after his separation news with Isha Rikhi

On Tuesday, rapper Badshah made a double announcement: the launch of his first Marathi hip-hop track, "Chimna," and the confirmation of his separation from actress Isha Rikhi after five months of marriage. "Chimna" marks Badshah's debut in the Marathi music scene, weaving together his signature hip-hop style with Maharashtrian folk rhythms. In his statement, Badshah expressed his enthusiasm for exploring regional Indian music and dedicated the track to his Maharashtrian fans.

His separation from Rikhi followed suit, with both releasing identical Instagram Story posts confirming the end of their five-month union. The couple, who married in March 2026, requested privacy and declined further comment on the reasons behind their decision. Their marriage came after a nearly four-year relationship, which Rikhi publicly confirmed in June during an Instagram Q&A session with her followers.

Speculation regarding the couple's issues began surfacing in July, fueled by Rikhi's posts about storms and the aftermath they leave behind, as well as a remark about choosing courage over fear. Her mother also contributed to the discourse by posting about karma, which internet users interpreted as related. Despite the chatter, Badshah and Rikhi remained silent on the matter until Monday, when they issued their joint statement.

This marks the second divorce in Badshah's life, with his previous marriage to Jasmine Masih, mother of his daughter Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, ending in 2020.
