Alouettes sign Maciocia, Maas to new extensions
The Montreal Alouettes signed general manager Danny Maciocia and head coach Jason Maas to two-year contract extensions Tuesday.
Montreal Alouettes have extended contracts with general manager Danny Maciocia and head coach Jason Maas on Tuesday. Maciocia will be with the team until the 2031 season, while Maas's deal extends through the 2030 campaign. Maciocia returned as GM in January 2020 and brought Maas on board as head coach in December 2022. The Alouettes currently hold the best record in the CFL at 9-2.
With one more win, Maas would tie Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy's fourth-place record in franchise history. Maciocia attributed the team's success to Maciocia's leadership and Maas's contribution to football operations. The Alouettes recently signed American quarterback Caleb Evans to a one-year contract, as he finished his 2025 season with a knee injury.
