P.polis Wangsa Maju have detained five men for alleged involvement in a brawl and unrest outside a night club in Pudu. This comes after a 38-second video of the incident was uploaded to Facebook last Sunday. Annas Sulaiman, the Ketua Polis Wangsa Maju, stated that the suspects, aged between 19 to 30 years old, were arrested following the video analysis.

The incident reportedly started as a misunderstanding among individuals before escalating into a large brawl outside the premises. Police also seized a black Perodua Myvi car believed to have been used during the event, according to their statement. All suspects have prior records for violent crime and drug-related offenses, said Annas.

All suspects are being held for five days starting from August 31 to September 4 to aid the investigation, and efforts to locate other suspects at large are ongoing. The case is being investigated under Section 307, Section 148, and Section 427 of the Penal Code. Earlier this year, a similar video emerged of a brawl outside a night club in Kuala Lumpur involving a group of individuals, with a black Perodua Myvi also seen driving recklessly and violating nearby traffic.
