15-year-old girl gang-raped inside moving car in Bihar, 2 arrested

Two individuals have been apprehended for gang-raping a 15-year-old girl inside a moving vehicle in Bihar's Aurangabad district, according to police reports. The incident unfolded as the minor girl's mother visited Kutumba Referral Hospital for treatment. Around 12:30pm, three young men from her village, who were present near the Deoria canal, approached her and offered a ride to the hospital in their car.

The accused drove over 50 kilometers into isolated regions up to Madanpur, where they forcibly raped the minor girl. Despite her repeated pleas to be released, the perpetrators maintained control until they abandoned her near the canal at 6:30pm. Upon reaching home, the victim informed her parents, who subsequently filed a complaint.

The police registered a case of kidnapping and gangrape against the accused, with one suspect still at large. A search is underway to capture the third accused and recover the vehicle involved in the crime, stated Kutumba SHO Imran Alam. The minor girl is currently under the care of the Child Welfare Committee, and her medical examination has been completed.

Her statement will be presented in court on Tuesday. FSL and technical investigation teams are gathering evidence, as per Alam.
