Walau penggerak parti bertikam lidah, Kabinet kekal profesional, kata Armizan

Speaking to reporters, Armizan remarked that despite the political rivals of the ruling coalition exchanging verbal jabs, the cabinet remains composed, constructive, and professional. He expressed awe and gratitude for the maturity displayed by his cabinet colleagues, who despite being from different parties, have maintained harmonious relations and constructive interactions throughout cabinet meetings.

Armizan credited their growing awareness and shared consensus as the driving force behind this political maturation. This maturity is crucial to ensuring that Malaysia has a stable government to guide the nation's development and the welfare of its people in the post-election era.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the responsibility they bear to safeguard the stability of the government, further solidifying the pledge made in the 16th Jan 2022 cooperation agreement. Armizan's statement came amidst ongoing discussions of verbal sparring between leaders and supporters of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) since recently.

This comes after successful cooperation during the National and State Elections in 2018 and 2019, as well as during the recent PRN in Negeri Sembilan on Aug 1. Armizan noted that this situation reflects the evolving political landscape of the country following the end of a single-party dominance, requiring all parties to accept the need for cooperation and compromise.

He reminded voters of the experiences between 2018 and 2022, which saw Malaysia's cabinet change hands three times, a formula not ideal for sustained prosperity.

Armizan believes that this maturation of political parties is essential to navigate Malaysia's democratic and political landscape, both now and in the future.
