US strikes Iran for first time in a month, Tehran retaliates

The United States launched strikes against Iranian rocket launchers on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, marking its first military action against Iran in a month. This move followed the completion of clearing sea mines from the strategic waterway, announced by the US earlier in the day. In response, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps retaliated by attacking US military targets in Jordan, causing significant damage to technical infrastructure, maintenance facilities, and enemy fighter jet positions at the US-operated King Hussein and Al-Azraq airbases.
