Uni lecturer in Korea who allegedly killed Chinese student, dressed up to look like her & dispose of her body

A Chinese student was discovered dead in the apartment of a fellow Chinese national and part-time university lecturer in South Korea. The victim's boyfriend, Jeong, had initially reported her missing to the authorities, claiming to be her boyfriend. Jeong, a lecturer at the university, was subsequently arrested by local police on suspicion of murder.

According to Korean media reports, CCTV footage captured the suspect both before and after the alleged killing. The footage shows the victim arriving at the man's residence around 2am, carrying a suitcase. Together, they entered the building. However, the suspect later reappeared on CCTV at approximately 10:30pm that same day, wearing a skirt, hat, and mask.

Investigators believe the suspect dressed in this manner to make it appear as though the victim was still alive. Jeong then allegedly dismembered and disposed of the victim's body in various locations around the apartment complex. The lecturer declined a psychopathy assessment proposed by the police.
