Ukraine Opens 25,000 Schools Under New Wartime Safety Rules as Teachers Get Additional 20% Pay Raise
According to Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi on Monday, Aug. 31, Ukraine will open 25,000 educational institutions on Sept. 1 under new safety rules as Russia’s war continues. More than 83% of school students will now have access to shelters, while teachers’ pay will rise by an additional 20%.
