Portugal stocks higher at close of trade; PSI up 0.07%

Portugal's stocks rose after the market closed on Monday, driven by positive performance in sectors such as Telecoms, Basic Materials, and Consumer Services. Galp Energia Nom, Semapa, and Nos SGPS SA were among the top gainers of the day, with their shares increasing by 2.74%, 2.42%, and 0.72%, respectively. Conversely, the least successful stocks were Mota Engil SGPS SA, which dropped 1.29%, EDP Renovaveis by 1.23%, and The Navigator Company SA by 0.73%.

On the Lisbon Stock Exchange, there were 19 stocks that fell while only 6 advanced, with 5 remaining unchanged. Brent oil prices climbed 4.89% to $90.33 per barrel, while Crude oil for October delivery rose 2.53% to $85.51 per barrel. Gold Futures fell 0.99% to $4,484.86 per troy ounce. Financial markets remained stable with EUR/USD, EUR/GBP, and the US Dollar Index Futures remaining unchanged.
