Pakistan Army Announces New Jobs for Junior Commissioned Officers and Soldiers

The Pakistan Army has unveiled fresh employment opportunities for Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb), General Duty Soldiers, Technical Soldiers, Drivers, Military Police, Clerks, Cooks, and Sanitary Workers as part of its 2026 recruitment campaign. Interested candidates can submit their applications online via the official recruitment portal or at their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) between September 1 and November 23, 2026.

Eligibility requirements vary depending on the position. For instance, Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) applicants must possess Dars-e-Nizami certification alongside FA, FSc or an equivalent degree, while General Duty Soldiers require a Matric qualification. Technical Soldier roles necessitate a Matric in Science with a B Grade, and Soldier Driver positions prefer candidates with a valid driving license.

Military Police roles are open to candidates who have passed Matric and meet physical standards. Clerks need an Intermediate education (minimum C Grade), with computer proficiency and higher education being advantageous. Cook jobs call for a Middle qualification, with candidates having culinary experience receiving preference. Sanitary Worker applicants should be literate up to Primary level.

The age range for applicants spans from 17½ to 35 years, contingent on the specific role. Height and educational relaxation provisions are also available for certain categories.
