Nana Kwadwo Osei Bonsu I installed as Odikro of Tepa Ankaase in Ashanti Region

In the Ahafo Ano North Municipality of the Ashanti Region, the people of Tepa Ankaase have chosen a new leader to guide their community. Kwadwo Osei Bonsu, known in private life, was officially installed as Nana Kwadwo Addai Osei Bonsu I on Friday, August 28, at the Akwaboah Palace. He took the Oath of Allegiance to the Otumfuo Akwaboahene and the people of Ankaase.

Otumfuo Kusi Agyapong Appau I, who previously served as Odikro, warned Nana Kwadwo Osei Bonsu I to serve his people with humility, truth, and dedication. He also urged him to unite the community and cautioned against following the same path that led to his own destoolment. The Akwaboahene emphasized that the community's past actions led to his removal, and he asked Nana Kwadwo Osei Bonsu I not to bring shame upon him and the Akwaboah Stool.

Officials and leaders present at the ceremony emphasized the importance of unity, upholding cultural values, and working together for the progress of Tepa Ankaase. The youth were encouraged to support the new Odikro and avoid actions that could divide the community. Despite recent chieftaincy-related violence, the enstoolment of Nana Kwadwo Osei Bonsu I saw a significant turnout of residents, who expressed their unwavering support for their new leader.

Nana Kwadwo Osei Bonsu I pledged to prioritize unity, youth empowerment, education, health, employment, and infrastructure improvements to transform Ankaase for future generations.
