MoQ, QF sign MoU

Mall of Qatar (MoQ) and Qatar Foundation (QF) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster cooperation in education, culture, creativity, and community initiatives. The agreement, initiated under QF's JOOD Privilege Programme, aims to expand these programs' reach to various segments of society across Qatar.

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between the two parties in developing and implementing programs that support learning, knowledge exchange, and community engagement. With QF utilizing MoQ's facilities and venues, the partnership will organize exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops, student-led initiatives, research showcases, and a variety of educational and cultural events. It will also support the creation and promotion of joint awareness campaigns via various media channels.

QF's director, Logistics Services & Auxiliaries, Ali Jassim al-Haidose, noted that this partnership marks one of the first community-focused initiatives under the JOOD Programme. He emphasized that JOOD aims to be more than an exclusive discount platform, serving as a gateway to impactful initiatives and meaningful partnerships catering to community interests.

The CEO of Mall of Qatar, Rony Mourani, highlighted education as a core pillar of MoQ and expressed the mall's commitment to fostering learning, creativity, and community engagement through this MoU. The MoU also enables QF to host selected events at MoQ's Oasis Stage and across the mall's venues, with the mall providing necessary technical and communications support.

Additionally, it encompasses the JOOD service, a digital platform offering QF students and employees exclusive benefits and discounts from partnering organizations.
