Montenegro launches hunt for Russian citizen for triple murder

Montenegro's police have initiated a manhunt for a Russian citizen following the triple murder at a shooting range. The incident occurred on Monday in Danilovgrad, located approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Podgorica, the capital city. The 30-year-old suspect shot dead three employees at the shooting range before escaping in a car belonging to one of the victims, which was later discovered empty.

Police have set up checkpoints in several towns in the region due to the suspect's armed status and the presence of ammunition. The authorities have released images of the suspect and issued a warning to citizens to exercise caution. The possible motive behind the murders remains undisclosed by the authorities, who have expressed condolences to the families of the victims and declared two days of national mourning to begin on Tuesday.
