The Sanchismo networks attribute responsibility for the invasion to Trump, ignoring that when the first assault on Ceuta's border occurred in 2021, Joe Biden was president.

The government's supposed success in returning over 90% of the assailants to Morocco is often cited, despite the fact that everyone knows they did so voluntarily. If it weren't for this, there would be around 80,000 immigrants wandering around Ceuta. Impotence in resolving the problem shows that it could happen again when that responsible party is evaded by the government.

This threat makes Ceuta an unlivable city. Yesterday, Sánchez stripped Defense Minister Margarita Robles of her duties for suggesting the CNI had warned and foreseen the assault. He maintains, despite overwhelming evidence, that they had no knowledge of the scale. For Robles, the only honorable exit is resignation. If Sánchez were to follow the same rule applied to Mazán on the day of the dana, he should also resign.
