'Krishna's Life Inspires Lok Kalyan': CM Yogi Adityanath Calls For Developed Uttar Pradesh On Janmashtami

Lucknow, August 31 - Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent warm greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. In a letter, he urged the residents to live by the principles of truth, dharma, karma, and lokmangal exemplified by Bhagwan Shri Krishna, and to work towards developing a prosperous and glorious Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the life of Shri Krishna offers invaluable lessons in lok kalyan, the spirit of selfless service to society. In line with this spirit, the government is striving to uplift the most vulnerable, eradicate poverty, create employment opportunities for the talented and skilled youth, support those who feed the hungry, and ensure equal opportunities for daughters and sons.

Shri Krishna, CM Adityanath noted, is not merely a figure of nobility but a symbol of harmony. His friendship with Sudama teaches that true relationships transcend social status and material wealth. The leelas of his childhood, such as stealing butter and subduing Kaliya Naag, impart spiritual messages of simplicity, love, social harmony, and the triumph of dharma over adharma.

Through actions like lifting Govardhan Parvat, Krishna illustrated the importance of collective cooperation and protecting nature, livestock, and agriculture-based livelihoods.

The Chief Minister stressed that the strength of society lies in cooperative efforts, as exemplified by Krishna's lifting of Govardhan Parvat. This message underscores the importance of unity in the face of adversity. Additionally, Krishna demonstrated the virtues of karma, knowledge, and duty, providing guidance applicable to all times and circumstances.

Uttar Pradesh, he noted, remains a vibrant epicenter of Sanatan cultural consciousness, with Mathura, Gokul, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana, and Nandgaon continuing to celebrate the spiritual legacy of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.
