Kemerdekaan sebenar tuntut pemikiran matang, etika, titah Raja Perlis

Raja Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, has emphasized the importance of true independence, maturity of thought, ethics, and speech during a special nationwide Hari Kebangsaan celebration in Perlis. Speaking at the Tuanku Syed Putra Sports Complex in Kangar, he urged the people of Perlis, particularly the younger generation, to continue pursuing knowledge, mastering new skills, building self-confidence, and preserving religious and cultural values inherited from their ancestors.

Tuanku Sirajuddin stressed that knowledge without ethics will not produce a perfect person, while progress without integrity cannot guarantee lasting prosperity. He urged those present to become a generation of well-educated, skilled, ethically sound, and responsible individuals, ready to contribute to the advancement of Perlis and Malaysia.

The Raja Perlis, accompanied by the Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, and the Raja Permaisuri Perlis, Tuanku Tengku Fauziah Almarhum Tengku Abdul Rashid, made the call for all Perlis residents to continue adhering to the Rukun Negara and the nation's founding principles in their daily lives. Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin expressed his deep appreciation for the loyalty, respect, and love of the people of Perlis, who have always been a strength in maintaining harmony within the state.

He emphasized that unity is the strength of any nation, leading to security, stability, and progress. Stability naturally leads to advancement and prosperity, from which security and stability emanate. Security enjoyed today is not something that comes automatically; it must be nurtured. Tuanku Sirajuddin expressed the hope that Perlis and Malaysia will continue to be blessed with security, prosperity, stability, and sovereignty, and that the people of Perlis will be granted good health, abundant blessings, a happy life, and complete unity.
