Burdette Park to host BMX Hoosier Nationals in 2027

Burdette Park in Evansville will host the 2027 USA BMX Hoosier Nationals, attracting approximately 500 riders to the region. The event will be organized by Explore Evansville, the Evansville Regional Sports Commission, Burdette Park, and Burdette BMX. This national championship will also commemorate the 50th anniversary of the BMX track at Burdette Park.

Andy Damin, president of Burdette Park BMX, expressed his excitement about being selected to host the 2027 Hoosier Nationals. He emphasized that it is a significant honor and an excellent opportunity to showcase the 50 years of BMX racing that have impacted riders, parents, volunteers, and the community. Damin highlighted that the track is unique, offering riders an unparalleled downhill racing experience.
