A week before a Nova Scotia meadery was going to sell almost 600 wine-size bottles of mead to a New Brunswick Renaissance fair, the 100-plus per cent markup fees charged by New Brunswick's liquor regulator largely scuttled the order. The situation even attracted the ire of Nova Scotia's premier.
