Applied Materials strives to cooperate with chipmakers to shorten equipment lead time

Applied Materials, a leading semiconductor engineering solutions company, is collaborating with Korean chipmakers to streamline equipment lead times as these companies expand their global presence, according to Park Gwang-sun, the Korea Country President. During a press conference in Seoul, Park emphasized that Korea's significance within the global artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem has been reevaluated within the past year.

He highlighted that the company's primary role involves working closely with customers to anticipate long-term demand and providing equipment accordingly. Park stated, "We are working closely with our customers to optimize design and maximize output so that our equipment can produce high-quality devices." As chipmakers, including SK hynix and Samsung, continue to expand their facilities globally, Applied Materials Korea is committed to ensuring comprehensive technical and workforce support throughout this process.
