2 terrorists killed during intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Washuk: state media

Two terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Washuk district, according to state-run PTV. The operation took place in the Palantak area as part of the ongoing Operation Radul Fitna, which targets Fitna al Hindustan, a group designated by the state. The terrorists were involved in attacks on the Mashkhel police station and the Customs House.

Their vehicle was destroyed, and a significant amount of weapons and ammunition were recovered. In the previous week, 11 terrorists were killed in separate IBOs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The monthly security assessment by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies highlighted a significant deterioration in the security situation in Balochistan last month, with a 241% increase in overall deaths, a 933% rise in security personnel deaths, and an 18% increase in civilian deaths.
