‘Walk the talk’: Prakash Ambedkar implores Rahul Gandhi to act in Kharge ‘purification’ row

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) chief Prakash Ambedkar expressed disappointment over the lack of swift action from Congress workers following the "purification" ceremony that took place in Uttarakhand’s Haldwani. This event followed Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s rally. Ambedkar took to a video message to criticize the Congress' delayed reaction, stating that Kharge had to express sorrow over the Congress party members' failure to explicitly condemn the casteist act.

After 15 days, Rahul Gandhi addressed the issue in a press conference, presenting evidence of those involved in the "purification." Ambedkar targeted Congress workers for their initial silence, questioning their commitment to fighting casteism when their party president was subjected to it. He advised against relying on photographs in presentations, as everyone is aware that the RSS-BJP perpetrated the casteism against Kharge.

Ambedkar questioned whether Rahul Gandhi has filed a case to seek justice for Kharge and urged him to "walk the talk," demonstrating that his words are backed by action.
