Video: Lifeguard Saves 7-Year-Old Girl From Drowning At Daman Beach

On Saturday evening, a seven-year-old girl tragically began drowning while bathing at Nani Daman beach in the Union Territory of Daman, which borders Gujarat. Witnessing the child's distress, lifeguard Sujal Mangela sprang into action. Overcoming the force of powerful waves, Mangela leapt into the water and reached the girl within a mere two minutes.

The dramatic rescue was captured on video, showcasing Mangela's quick thinking and bravery. Devoted family members had arrived with the girl from Vapi, where she was playing and bathing in the sea. Unable to regain her footing, the child began to struggle as the wave swept her towards deeper waters. Lifeguard Sujal Mangela's timely intervention prevented a potentially fatal outcome.

The hero's actions have garnered widespread admiration, with many hailing him as a true life-saver. This incident follows a recent drowning tragedy in Gujarat's Bhavnagar district, where two teenagers drowned while trying to rescue their friends at a check dam. Despite their noble efforts, the teenagers themselves perished in the process.
