Tragic Final Hours of Expat Couple Found Dead in Cullera

An Irish businesswoman and her husband met tragic ends while vacationing in Cullera, a luxury holiday destination near Valencia, Spain. Thomasina Tobin, a 51-year-old from County Monaghan, and Patrick Tobin, a 48-year-old originally from New Zealand, were discovered lifeless beside a hot tub in their rented villa. Their teenage children, who have special needs, had been inside the villa for over 12 hours before realizing their parents were no longer alive.

The children then alerted the villa owner, who contacted emergency services.
