Tottenham agree deal for Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton have reached an agreement for the signing of their mutual forward Iliman Ndiaye, according to reports from The Athletic. The agreement is currently in principle only, and both parties must still complete the necessary personal terms and medical checks before the deal can be finalized. However, the deals are not linked, and Tottenham will continue to search for other attacking options before the transfer deadline.

Ndiaye's arrival is seen as a much-needed boost for Tottenham's attack, which has struggled under the recent form of their striker Richarlison. The 26-year-old Senegalese international, who joined Everton from Marseille for £15 million in 2024, has already made an impact at his new club, scoring 17 goals and providing four assists in 73 appearances, including 15 goals in 67 Premier League games.

His versatility and creativity would provide a valuable addition to the Tottenham squad, which already features stars like Dominic Solanke, Mohammed Kudus, Omar Marmoush, and Savio.

Meanwhile, Richarlison is set to make a return to his former club, Everton, after four years with Tottenham. The Brazilian forward, who scored 32 goals in 134 appearances for Spurs, admits he has struggled for consistency during his injury-hit spell in north London. He scored 11 Premier League goals last season but was left out of Saturday's defeat against Manchester United.

A move back to Everton could provide Richarlison with the opportunity to rediscover the form that made him a fan favorite on Merseyside before his transfer to Tottenham.
