Shamzydane channels personal experiences in new single

Nigerian singer Shalom Terem, better known as Shamzydane, has debuted his newest track titled "Alone" on August 20, 2026. The 22-year-old artist has been steadily making a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry. "Alone" is an Afro-Soul and Afro-Swing fusion, inspired by the artist's personal experiences and reflections on his life stage, pressures he faced during self-discovery, and his determination to progress forward.

Shamzydane explained that the song is a manifestation of his desire to make sense of his circumstances. The track follows his previous collaboration with US-based artiste Tomi Tribe on their song "Loba Tan." Speaking about his musical journey, Shamzydane revealed that his passion for music was cultivated during his formative years in church and school.
